Just finished editing this lovely family's session! So many gorgeous expectant moms in Cordova! <3

I met up with the Kocan family near Orca Adventure Lodge in Cordova, AK. It was a sprinkly day with just enough beautiful clouds to make a great session. The rain held off long enough for us to squeeze in their family/maternity photo session!

Like most professional photographers, I often let too much time pass between photo sessions with my own little one. Today, my kiddo and I went on a walk through the Cordova coastal forest for a long overdue session!

Never stop believing.

A chilly Cordova, Alaska afternoon, an gorgeous 3pm winter sunset, two super sweet and chill parents and three funny, silly kiddos made this session one of my favorites. The ocean, the harbor and the snow capped mountains make for some breathtaking backdrops in my favorite little town =) 

On a familiar rainy Cordova, AK afternoon, I dragged my husband and little one out for some holiday photos. I love that Cordova has plenty of dense forest to protect us from the rain =) 

Moments like this are why I try to keep my camera handy at all times =) Teeny hands and Cheerios...I think any parent can relate. 

These three precious girls were full of energy and love for each other. Not to mention they are all stinking adorable and loved getting their photographs taken! We had so much fun capturing them playing and running and laughing together. We even managed to get them to sit still for a few photos ;)  They made my job a little bit too easy! 

I had the honor of working with this amazing little family to capture their baby boy's precious first days =) There is nothing more amazing than the tiny new souls that make such huge impacts on our lives. Thank you Marissa, for trusting me to preserve these precious memories. 

The imagination of a child is such an incredible thing. I love transforming their images into something just a touch more magical! The best images are the ones where you just capture them playing and being themselves =)
