Portrait photography is very intimate. Someone who lets you photograph them is allowing you to capture them for all time, exactly as they are in that moment. A portrait session is just as much about the experience and the story as it is about the picture itself.

I *LOVE* doing portfolio shoots for current and aspiring models. Model sessions push me to step outside of my comfort zone and push my boundaries a little bit. Whether that be with posing or lighting or styling, I feel like I learn something new with every session and it's amazing!
We first met this family during a casting call we did back in May for a commercial children's photoshoot for a local retail store. These two have so much personality... Greyson is a little comedian and Kaylyn is a little fashionista and a great audience for her big brother. They kept us on our toes for sure, but we loved every minute of it. We seriously love every time we get to work with this amazing family!
I really love moody edits so I thought I would share these with you all. I decided to take my munchkin out for an impromptu photo session. Loved how these creative portraits turned out.
Tiffany is a local model and actress who contacted me for some udated portfolio shots in downtown Johnson City, TN. We had a stylist with us on the shoot changing hair and makeup between styles for the whole 3 hour session! I love how much variety we acheived in such a short period of time. We are thrilled to be able to offer packages like this to all our high fashion seniors and models! Here's a peek at what we shot for Tiffany.
This was an amazing opportunity to capture some beautiful images of my sister and her husband on the perfect evening on Mission Beach, where we stayed. If you all follow my work, you know I'm a fan of cloud overlays, but this was one of those serendipitous occasions where the sunset and clouds were phenomenal and the sky is 100% real in these images.
