Portrait photography is very intimate. Someone who lets you photograph them is allowing you to capture them for all time, exactly as they are in that moment. A portrait session is just as much about the experience and the story as it is about the picture itself.

Danielle and Jacob's wedding was a beautiful affair! Held at Cordova's historical St. George's Episcopal Church with reception at the brand new Cordova Center, the day was a perfect nod to Cordova's history and future.
Just like their wedding day, this couple has a beautiful future in store together.
Isaac and Anna were married New Years Eve 2015 at the Nazarene Church in Cordova, Alaska. Even though we had a typical rainy and dark winter Cordova day, we were thankfully able to get some gorgeous shots inside the beautiful new Cordova Center!

A chilly Cordova, Alaska afternoon, an gorgeous 3pm winter sunset, two super sweet and chill parents and three funny, silly kiddos made this session one of my favorites. The ocean, the harbor and the snow capped mountains make for some breathtaking backdrops in my favorite little town =)
Moments like this are why I try to keep my camera handy at all times =) Teeny hands and Cheerios...I think any parent can relate.
